The auspicious day of Ram Navmi is celebrated in India, across the U.S. and around the world by millions of Hindu people, as it has for thousands of years. Ram Navmi  will also be celebrated here at Radha Madhav Dham, the entire weekend with a devotional retreat from Friday, April 15 to Sunday, Apr 17  2016.  The main celebration of Ram Navmi will be held on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Bharatvarsh was glorified with the descension of Bhagwan Ram which happened in the Treta Yug about 18.144 million years ago – so declared Swami Tulsidas Ji in the holy book of Ramayan

The city of Ram’s birth, Ayodhya, was lovingly decorated with festive flags and banners, the sound of drums and conches resounded in the sky, thrilling the atmosphere. All the residents were eagerly awaiting the news of Ram’s birth, the joy in their hearts knowing no bounds. Such was the feeling at that time.

Lord Ram, along with His beloved consort Shree Sita Ji, descended on the Earth planet to establish the highest class of righteous living, courage, wisdom and kindness to all the souls for all time as revealed in Ramayan. It is a true historical epic meant to inspire, enlighten and motivate our hearts and souls, so we too can follow the path of righteousness, as taught by the Lord Himself.
